Has anyone ever built the italeri 1/48 C-130 kit? Would be grateful for any info

The only thing I can tell you about the kit is that it is big and it is missing a sort of corner on the lower fuselage that runs from by the door up front to the rear ramp. But it is also missing from all of the 1/72 C-130 kits too, except the Airfix Version. Go figure. I have seen them built up and they are impressive. I do have several. I have heard that the engine nacelles are a bit off on some versions. I think they have done the A, E, H, and J, and also the AC-130A gunship in 1/48, so you can pretty well choose whatever flavor you want.

There’s also a 1/48 U model of the AC-130 (known locally as “the U-boat”) which is put out by Italeri, IIRC. I have a couple of gunships and slicks “on the shelf.” I also have the Cutting Edge conversions to do some Special Operations MC-130s.
