Did anyone else see last nights CBS Evening news with the C-130? They were testing the winds in tornado. They backed a C-130 up to a trailer home. Like the ones you see in trailer parks. They wanted to see the effects the winds had on a structure that was properly secured. It was kind of neat to see it. Wondered if anyone else caught it.
Yup. tested to 110mph winds. Guess all mobile homes should be anchored as such.
No, didn’t see last night, but I felt it in Da Nang. We backed one out of its parking spot on our flight line. I was a wing walker behind it in the air freight area. When I turned to leave, they changed prop pitch and blew me off my feet. They also sent plywood sheets flying all around me.
Sorry I missed that. That would be a sight.
