Thank you for your comments, truly appreciated. The pedestals are from Lowe’s found in the specialty hardware drawers in the fastener isle, in this instance bronze sleeve bearings 1/4x5/16x3/4, with a vinyl spacer pressed inside to provide a soft material for mounting screws to bite into. Keel sits in a square cutout at the top of the sleeve done with a small table saw.
