Brush Guard for a 1/35 Hummer

Fellow modelers

Would anyone happen to have a brush guard lying around or know where I could get one? I am building the 1/35 Commando Hummer from Italeri.

There are several that come with kits including Academy’s M998 2 door HMMWV, the Italeri M1036 TOW carrier with winch, Tamiya’s new M1025, Revell of Germany’s M998 2 door, and the Verlinden M998 Update set. I’ve seen multiple types of brush guards in real life so no one type is more “correct” than another unless you’re trying to match an actual vehicle in a photo.

ARRRGGGG That picture brings back lots of memories, bad ones. I wish I had a dime for every time I had to crawl under and work on a HMMWV that looked like that.
I hope you were a better driver then the ones I had to deal with. When they washed their hummer they would miss a big spot of mud on the inside of the wheel, above the greaded hub, so when the drove it it would vibrate like it was coming apart. Then the come crying to me and I would tell them go wash it again, they would in turn go cry to they TC (1sgt, XO, Capt, or higher) and when there TC shows up I would have to crawl under the truck with a screw driver and pry out a piece of mud the size of dinner plate and make the driver look like an fool.

That was the first thing I taught a new Airmen. Showed them how to get it muddy, not stuck. Then how to clean it. But you always have a few that do not listen and the result is a over night stay until the wrecker can get to you. the two pics were taken at Ft Campbell Ky (Jan 01) It was a pretty cold night
