I don’t known how many times i have gone through every FSM looking for a article/subject. Since I have aporox 10 to 12 years worth, this feature is very welcomed! Now I can look subject up here, and find which cover to look for, or at least what year to start looking back through. Over the years I have learned a lot from FSM, and it is a major source of reference and “how-to’s”.
Thanks
Glad to hear you find this function useful. We (editors) have to manually add metadata to each issue’s table of contents in the website’s database. It’s not a big burden, but it takes some time to figure out which catagories each article should be covered under (and make sure you apply the same criteria to articles on similar subjects). On a couple of occasions when I’ve been scrambling to get that done before an issue goes live, I have wondered if anybody uses the function. At the very least, now I know I’m doing it for matthew9! I greatly appreciate the trouble. There’s been times when I’ve dug out 20+ magazine’s looking for one how-to or painting ref. This make’s thing’s much easier. Also I just found “magazine Index”. I do, and will be using both of these feature’s, thank’s again! [tup]
