Looking for info on British Late War Interior Aircraft Colors for a 1/72nd Scale model of the Hawker Typhoon mkIb.
Some early Tiffies, especially ‘car door’ ones, had RAF interior grey-green cockpits. however, later machines had their cockpits in black, with the instrument panel with a crinkle effect finish.

In the absence of specific information for the machine you’re building, I would go for black as the safer option. In 1/48 or 1/72, of course, this is better represented by a very dark grey.
Cheers,
Chris.
Thanks for help your Chris:)
ModelMaster Interior Black works well,

That’s a good site, but now i’m really stumped. I was looking at the cockpit of the P-47, and noticed a set of switch’s labled chemical release, on the left switch panel, do you have any idea what this is for?.
Emergency relief tube resevoir emptying?
Cheers,
Chris.
