Heller has a couple versions of the French VAB. If you are also looking for ex-Soviet/Russian wheeled APCs, Dragon does a couple BRDM versions and BTRs. Skiff does a coupel versions of the BTR-152, a wheel APC as well. Trumpter, Dragon, and AFV Club all have announced that they are doing a US Stryker as well.
THANK’s Gino.I found a few of them. But they were From some russian companies,or someone in that part of the world.
Tamiya also puts out a Japanese version of their LAV:
Academy does the British Warrior, Tamiya makes the Marder 1A2 and Revell Makes the Marder 1A3 and the Tpz Fuchs. Accurate Armour has a Conversion for the Danish M92 PNMK ‘Wildcat’ as well as conversions for the Warrior and full kits British Land Rovers, Saxons, CVR(T) series, FV 432 Series just brought back into service in Iraq/Afghanistan and Pinzgauers. Heller makes the 4x4 and 6x6 VAB as well as the old AMX series. AFV Club does the NATO AIFV and Dutch YPR 765-PRI. MR Models does the Swiss Schutzenpanzer 63/89 conversion kit and a full kit of the old DAF YP408 APC
Yes, the Dragon BTR’s (and BRDM’s?) have been reissued from time to time by Zvezda.
Read his question again. He is looking for WHEELED LAVs and APCs. Most that you have listed are tracked APCs.
Ya Gino ,that is correctI heard mention of 3 britissh kits starting with Pgnauer ?? I think.I’ll have to look againafter i finiish this[ you can’t do it while eritin, they only let you view the person of reply.anyway when I try looking for these, will my wallet cringe ? Thanks again gino & all oy you, Rudedog
If you’re serious about the the Heller VAB’s, you might want to snap up any that you come across. They went under with Airfix. I read that Airfix is supposed to be rescued, but I don’t know if Heller is part of that.
Lackin aything easier to find,I’m gonna go with a heller, and norrow it moe,4 or 6 wheeled,& per your upcoming Which will hold evetythinging in general in a state of flux.Inn short I’l own I or both TODAY !!!Thanks,Buff, rudedog
To Gino P. Quintiliani, Ah yes we all make mistakes, who do you think you are being so rude and righteous, I was only trying to help, you ignorant self appointed prat. Do I remember not so long ago you criticised someone for the choice of a kit when he was only helping his son to research a subject. If you have nothing constructive to say don’t bother
Just pointing out that you didn’t properly answer his question so others will know those are not all wheeled AFVs. That seems pretty constructive to me.
Who pissed in your Wheaties today? Wow!! You obviously have some issues. Sorry to have been so rude and stepped on your toes. Excuse me!![sigh] No idea what you are talking about chastising someone for buying the wrong kit, wasn’t me. I may have said that the kit they bought wasn’t the best out there, but not that he bought the wrong one.
Heller do the 4 and 6 wheel VAB, its pretty crude, but add the sets from Blast OH, BOY! now your baking cake, the are the best conversion sets I’ve seen in a long time. Eduard do two sets for the VaB also.
Terry.
Glad I could help. I saw a build up of a Heller with the Blast set in Steel Masters a few months ago, and it looked great. Good luck with it.
There’s nothing like resorting to name-calling to prove your point. Good job. You made the forum so much better for having said that.
Chill out.
