I’m digging Dragon’s new marketing concept of “oraqnge-boxing” some of their older a/c kits w/ extra goodies and/or different marking schemes and repopping them at a low price. I just ordered this re-pop yesterday from GM…can’t beat it with a stick for $30, IMO. They also are re-releasing their old Trimaster kit of the He-162 with some upgrades for $25:

They are kits featuring good detail & lousy fit, but the new boxing & pricing is nice. Unlike Hasegawa who reboxes old kits with new decals & sells at a premium price for “limited run” editions.

Orange box indeed!
Its a good value considering the price of kits these days, any incentive to add extras at a better price is a great incentive to us the consumers. Personally I have my eye on the orange box Sherman Firefly.[;)]
