Bradley Track Help!

I’m building Tamiya’s Bradley M2A2, ODS, for a friend’s son who has spent a year driving one in in sunny Northern Iraq, and is now in Germany. I’m going nuts right now putting together the Friulmodel tracks, but I can’t figure out how many links I should use. I’ve tried using the plastic links that came with the kit as a guide, but want to be sure I get the length right before I glue the last nut! HELP!

I would just use the kit track. Would save yourself $35+ and a lot of headache. Since Bradley tracks are tight, the Fruils are not needed, they don’t really add anything to the kit. Sorry, I think you wasted some money. The kit tracks can be made to look great. Not a big fan of AM tracks. Here are how mine came out.

It sounds like you already have purchased the Fruilmodel track. The only way to determine the correct number of blocks is to test fit the strand during assembly. This is easily done and when you get close to linkup you willl have a good idea how many you will need. Then just build the other side with that number in mind. You may have to drop or add a block or two, I have builds where one side took an extra block.

Here is how I test fit, once you are halfway you can guesstimate the total number.

By the way, I have had good luck with the Fruil and Karaya track. They are expensive, but I certainly prefer them to any plastic out there. Good luck on your Bradley project.
