Book - "Spitfire - The Canadians"

This is a book by a Canadian author named Robert Bracken, and theres a sequel or preceeding book, which I found at a used book store for a very reasonable price. when I searched the internet for the first part, I found it, but the cheapest, and this was a used copy remember, was going for just under $200, for a used copy in good condition. I looked again tonite, and found one for over three hundred dollars!!! is it just me, or is that completely unreasonable, bordering on insane? its a nice book with some great images of canadian spitfires and nice artwork, but come on. the line has to be drawn somewhere…

I feel your pain. I’m trying to find a copy of “Fighters over Tunisia” by Christopher Shores. It’s going for the same prices.

I don’t get why people pay these kinds of prices for a book, even if it is really good and out of print. I mean someone must be buying them at these prices or the selling price would be cheaper right? Probably some collector buys this stuff and never even reads them.
