Here is my Slave 1 I completed not too long ago. I was a little nervous with the paint job as it was my 1st time to use the hairspray chipping technique. I’m pleased with the results. I used valllejo acrilics. These Bandai kits are fun to put together and have an amazing amount of detail and crispness.
Nicely done, really like the finish.I’ve got the FM 72nd kit and am a bit nervous about trying to produce that finish. If it turns out like that i’ll be chuffed.

Yeah that’s some sharp work. The chipping looks fantastic!
That looks much better than my first attempt at hairspray chipping! I have the old AMT kit and I’ve been putting off building it until I’m more confident in the technique.

Very nice finish! I also have the AMT and FM version, might have to get Bandai’s for the trifecta. Slave 1 group build anyone?
