I have a question regarding use of the BMP-1 by the Soviets in the 1979 Afghan Invasion. Does anyone know if they were painted in camo, or was it always the usual Soviet green?

They did use some camo for that war and adopted some new colors…Osprey has a good title on the “BUMP” that show some cool color plates…
I have seen pics of them in overall green, as well as various camo schemes.
