Hey guys does anyone know were to get Detailed interior blueprints of AC. I dont mean the 3D drawings of the outside, but the one showing all the detail like the AC on the cover of this isue of FSM.
I’ve had some luck by typing the plane I’m looking for and “cutaway” into search engines like Google or Yahoo.
Some books have them too… check the bargain section of your local book store and the military history section of used books stores.
Good Idiea Ill try that. Thanks
Jeff, I’ve had good luck with getting plans from the Smithsonian. Plus, I I’ve contacted the Aircraft Manufacturer (ie: Grumman, Boeing, etc) I have a 1/32 scale A-6 Intruder but, unfortunately, it does not have a cut away section
[:(] I just pulled it out & looked as I couldn’t remember!! Man, time to dig out the rest of my plans & refs!! Hmmm… now where’d I stash dat box???[censored][%-)]
That cut away on the cover is great tho & makes one get Crazy Ideas too!!
Keep the razors sharp my friends!!
Eddie
Try ths book, its by William Green, “An Illustrated Anatomy of the World’s Fighters:”, every fighter has a detailed labelled cutaway drawing. I use it all the time for references. Its only about $17 at Amazon.
