G’day All, Managed to get my hands on a set of NSAWC (Top Gun) F-14A decals in preparation for tackling Revells big 1-32 beast in the Blue Camo scheme, and was curious if anyone might know where I could find some good reference pics?
Also would any one be able to tell me what kind of weapons config might be passable on a Top Gun jet. the few pics I have seen have all shown no External Fuel tanks, A single (possibly 2) AIM-9 CATM’s and ACMI pod I have also found 1 single photo carrying an INERT AIM-7 on the shoulder pylon. Do these jets ever carry Pheonix Pallets (with or with out missiles?) or Air to ground ordnance? Basically I’m looking for the toughest looking loadout feasible, It just seems a shame to build the big Cat and give it no claws!
