Blade/tip color on HH-53C Super Stallion in SEA camo?

I’m building the old Revell HH-53C Super Stallion “Vietnam Rescue” kit and I’ve painted it in the SEA camouflage which was used at the time. However, the instructions (mediocre as they are) say to paint the rotor tips white and the blades black.

I’ve already painted the blades black and the rotor assembly steel, but I’m not sure about this whole white tip thing. Can anyone provide me with more intel or pictures of what a real Vietnam-era Super Stallion would have had for blade/tip colors?

Maybe these will help:

All the pics I can find show no tip color.
Have some pics of a Pave Hawk that was at Aviation Nation last year and it also has no tip color.

Thanks everybody!

“Paint it Black…”[:D]

Most helo blades during the Vietnam era were painted black with yellow tips
