Uhhhh, it’s a German plane???
Seriously, though, it looks like maybe a Horten design, or maybe a Blomm & Voss design. Or is it something you kit-bashed?
Looks like the German version of the de Havilland Vampire
Yes, it’s a german plane. It’s a Focke Wulf design initiated in 1943 as design #6 later redesignated Project VII. This was code named Flitzer (Madcap) and was to use the He S011A turbojet and a Walter rocket. Two were mocked up at wars end and prototype subassemblies had already been constructed. The model is a resin 1/48 kit from Planet Models and it has got to be the most unusual aircraft I’ve ever built. Imagine the look on the Watson’s Whizzers faces when they came across this baby. And as far as the Vampire goes, maybe it’s roots lie here?
It’s not the sexiest aircraft I’ve ever seen, but it looks interesting and as always, you did a great job building it.
I thought it was a Skyhawk/Vampire hybrid!
Looks cool, Swanny!
Boy are we lucky that we toppled hitler when we did.
All these jet a/c they were working on. If it had gone on longer they would have gained air supiority back!

Nice job! I love those Luftwaffe '46 kits, thanks to Planet and Huma for “kitting” them.
