Lucky… as soon as my family gets out of debt, I’m getting my dad to buy me a laptop!!!
Yes my lap top is one of the most important hobby tools I have…and most expensive! I couldn’t model without it though. OH! I say laptop but only because it hooks me up the FSM FORUM!

Same here. I guess if I can’t build one, I might as well talk about them. Growing up, I only knew 1-2 friends who liked to model until their teen years. After that they vanished. So the Forum has been a godsend to me, meeting many friends and talking about my favorite hobbies.
I rarely take away from model building time to be on the forums. It’s much easier to spend my time at work on the forums, saving the time at home for modeling.
That’s what’s called efficient multi-tasking! [;)]

I think i have a 70:30 divide between my time on the forum to the workbench, which is literally next desk over. I think the major reason is that i had piled up lots of crap on my work area so i got too intimidated/lazy to clean them off. I sometimes actually would take some pieces that I need to scrape some seams off to work in front of the two monitors and watching a movie/surf on the forum at the same time.
Isn’t that the truth![(-D] Sometimes I spend equal parts of time preparing to work and working.
I spend a lot of time in this forum because when I do my work on a computer for few hours a day. OK, I give up… I am addicted to FSM forum.
Well as for this week ALL my time is here. If y’ll read my other post, I am waiting for some paint to get ordered and come in from my LSH

The reason I spent more time on the forums was because I was out of glue. But now, I’ve built 3 models (yes, 3) since I got glue.
You ran out of glue? I assume that is some kind of euphemism? I run out of stuff all the time. But not glue. Mostly I run out of time. Out of money. Out of luck. Never out of glue.
Out of glue? that is equivalent to an Infantryman running out of ammo during combat mission. NO EXCUSES! Now you must go and buy glue in bulk or in industrial size container.
Run out of glue? That would be almost impossible for me. Let’s see, I have 1 bottle Tamiya Cement (thick), 1 mostly used, 1 half used and 1 spare bottle Tamiya Extra Thin Cement, 1 almost new bottle of Testors Liquid Cement, 2 bottles of Flash Medium CA (1 almost empty) I use for filling gaps, 1 bottle of Flash Thin CA (1 second bond) I use for instant bond (and a bottle of CA Insta-Set just in case 1 second bond isn’t fast enough!), 1 bottle of Formula ‘560’ canopy glue, 2 tubes of Testors Orange, 1 tube Testors Blue and 1 tube Ambroid Plastic Cement (none of which I use, but can’t seem to throw out), and 1 bottle of Elmer’s White Glue, along with a bottle of Methylene Chloride I’ve used for bonding plexiglas together.
I guess you could say I’m stuck on glues! [:P]
And which glue do you like to sniff, oops, I meant to say to use for gluing on clear parts like canopy?[:D]
The Formula ‘560’ of course, though it looks, feels and smells ([;)]) just like Elmers! I probably won’t buy it again as it cost as much for a small bottle as a large bottle of Elmers.

Pretty soon I’ll run out of models, with my 1 a month purchase rate and 5 a month build rate… I hope the Sears Catalog Distribution place calls back already… my allowance is $4 DOALLARS A WEEK!!!$%#$^^*
