Well, you just have to try either Dragon’s new 3 in 1 Tiger or maybe their Elefant or Ferdinand if you want to do a tank. Half track, Dragon has both the new 3 in 1 C and D versions and the Drilling coming out soon. In case you didn’t notice, I love the new Dragon stuff!! Welcome to the board, by the way
I agree with Jason. If you’re into halftracks, the new Dragon 3 in 1’s are the way to go. Also, I recently completed the Dragon 250/11, which was also a nice little kit. You can click on my link below to see photo’s. Hope this helps, Pete
Dragon has come out with a plethora of halftracks in the last 6 months. There is also the 251/1 C, and the riveted 251/1, as well as a 251/6 C command version, a 251/16 C Flammpanzerwagen, and a 251/22. This is in addition to their existing line of 250’s
AFV Club has issued two or three 251’s also. They also has 3 Sdkfz 11’s on the market and are releasing a bunch more 251’s soon.
And, of course, there are always the grand daddy’s of all half tracks, the Tamiya Dragon Wagon and Famo!
Good luck. Let us know what you decide to build!
The limited release of the AFV club 251 with the PaK 40 that was reviewed in this months FSM would be a good one, too. wipw wouldn’t have known that it was in the new issue because I stole his issue and his Dragon Tiger out of the mail
GRRRRRRR!!![:(!][:(!]
Maybe the Opel maultier with flak 38?
It’s an Italeri kit, and I am going to start it soon.
Cheers!
Mike
I heard you got the famo. So, Next time I would get the 251/21 Drilling! Its coming out in February by dragon and later on from AFV club. I am a big German Halftrack fan too.
I don’t see a Pz I in your collection. Still plenty of time to join the Pz I Group Build.
You could do the kettenkraftrad its a 2/3 track …kinda
i started DML’s Ferdinand, nice build. Also, there is a bunch of group builds you could get a kit for a join! Pz1, Pz2, Tank destroyer, Leopard, Russian Build, Elefant/Ferdy and the list goes on and on and on and on…
Geoff, aren;t you jumping the gun on the Ferdie?? By the way, when do we know who has won your eternal gratititude?
It was I, Jason. He got the Famo!!
Waiting for my present to arrive anyday!! lol
crud. I just wanted to be loved
There must a street corner somewhere near you where you can temporarily solve that problem.[;)]
Dragons 250/3 is a nice kit, and their 3in1 ausf C 251 is my next project, it looks very well done.
yes, but that would syphon valuable funds from the model budget
