I finally got my plane done. The base that it is sitting on in some of the pics was just something I was messing around with. Hope you like. Not first place but it is model number 2 under my belt.

Came out real nice!
That really looks pretty good to me. Only your second model?
What scale and what brand is it? Very sharp…I like the Big Beautiful Doll. What did you use for the NMF?
She looks great. Nice job.
Thanks everybody. Really appreciate the comments.
Davew6003, I used to build them when I was a kid a looooong time ago. Never anything fancy, sometimes without paint and sometimes with paint out of the ole Testor rattle can. Im just now getting back into it now that I find myself with more time.
Mucker, It is the 1/32nd kit made by Hasegawa. I used Alclad polished aluminum for most of the finish. Used some white aluminum and duraluminum.
Wow- that’s really nice looking! Great job.
Can’t wait to see #3.
Very nicely done. If you hadn’t said it’s only #2 nobody would have ever known. Only issues would be the “painted” parts are a bit shiny and there are some seams on the leading edges of the wings. But a beautiful model.[tup]
Yeah, I had some issues with those seams[banghead]. It was a tuff kit for me. I chosed to leave the plane gloss shinny just for the refelction in the wing. I almost did put a dull coat on it. But glad you liked it.

Mate, what a grand job you made of the 51.

Great job, especially for your 2nd plane and to tackle a NMF finish no less. Hope to see more of you builds onthe forum.
Thanks everybody for you kind remarks. [:)] Next model will be Tamiya 1/48 P-51 done as the Millie P.
