Anybody know what colour should be underneath these? Are they the same as the wheel wells, or were they blended with the camouflage?

According to what I could find it should be RLM 02, same as the wheel wells.

Thanks, guys, that’s what I figured. I still haven’t decided if I want to put them out or in.

Well, afaik they are out immediately after landing but they would get pushed back in by the crew when the plane was parked, in order to prevent dirt from settling in that spot. Might help you decide…
