I have an Academy Bf-109E-3, that which comes with a Kettenkrad… and I’ve painted it like the box art… this is my question… as you know, in the decal there is no swastikas, and I have Techmod swastikas, but I don’t know which sizs and design is the appropiate for my kit… can you tell me which?..
Hmmm I thought only german kits had no swats in them… did everyone else stops the swats too???
I seen decal sheets at my LHS that had nothing but swats on them. They were in different scales in different packages.

my Monogram Promodeler stuka has swastikas with them
It’s a German thing, as I understand it, but since the same models get marketed all over Europe, it’s probably impractacle to box only kits bound for Germany without the swats.
Swastikas varied in size but on most E models they were approximately one foot square or 1/4’’ in 1/48 scale. Most of them had the white surround.

I built the same kit.I had the same problem so I ask to see if any has anybody so I am getting some in the mail
A 300mm 1/48 scale swastika should be the correct size for a Me 109 E3. Aeromaster make a set of different size swastikas, as do a few other decal firms. If you get one of these it will last a while and come in handy on all those other Luftwaffe aircraft that also don`t come with swastikas. (All European kits, as the symbol is banned in Germany)
