Bf 109E-1, 6./JG 54, "Brown 2" (1/32 Eduard)

Just finished this one up for the BoB GB that’s going on. Pretty much OOB except for the wheels (True Details), which are better than the ones that come with the kit but undersized. My first attempt at doing the ceramic insulators on the aerial was not a success, they’re too big. Couple of other minor issues, the II. Gruppe badge decal on the port side had a flaw in it and I could have done a better job getting her together in a few spots. But hopefully not too bad from 10 feet away! Painted in Gunze Acrylics and the decals are Aeromaster 32060 “Battle of Britain Luftwaffe Aces” and the kit.

The plane is from 6./JG 54 operating from Campagne, France in the autumn of 1940.

As always, thanks for looking.

Outstanding work, very cool[Y][Y][Y]

That’s a unique camo that I’ve never seen before. Nice looking Emil.

Expertly done Mike! I always enjoy seeing your work, and this one definitely does not disappoint. I love it!

Nicely done.[t$t] I’ve never seen that camo scheme before.

Nicely done Mike, especially the camo. Thanks for sharing.
