I have some Mr Surfacer and am ready to use it for the first time. I have been doing some reading up, and there seems to be two opinions on cleaning it up on the model after application. Some use lacquer thinner, and some use alcohol.
My question is what is the preferred method for cleaning it up around the seams and places where you used it to make it ready to sand and paint? Many thanks.

If you’re talking about airbrushing it you want to thin it with their own Mr Leveling thinner. If you’re talking about brushing it on over a seam or blemish and then wiping it down I’d use (I do use) a cotton swab dipped in 91% Isopropyl Alcohol.
Just a question and really I am not trying to be a smartellic. What application/ condition would you use for airbrushing Mr Surfacer?
You can airbrush the 1000 and 1200 for use as a primer. it works great there Joe!
My apologies, I should have said using a brush for seams and filling. I use Tamiya can primers before I airbrush the final colors. Sorry for being unclear and thanks for your replies.

I did not know that! Been using Tamiya rattle can primer this whole time. Thanks Nathan!
