Best T-34/85 T-55

Hi all
Just wanted to know who make the best kits of these 2 tanks. I want to portray them in Angolan and Cuban service. Coz i want to do sum Border war stuff. Got a couple a pics of captured tanks so reference wont be a problem.[8D]

Thanx 4 the help every1. Appreciate it.[;)]

Keep well.

T34-85 dragon, imho. T55 tamiya. the dragon has plastic indie traxthat with little cleaning fit quite nicely

Thanx for that Warmonger1. Do any t-55 kits come with a mineplough?
Thanx again.

Keep well.

Dragon’s T-34/85 NVA comes with markings for an Angolan tank. Since the kit is designed to represent a Vietnam era T-34/85, it is probably your best bet for the most modern variant (DML also does Korean War, 1944 and 1945 T-34/85 variants).

Skif sells (sold?) a KMT-6 mine plow for the T-55/62/64. It was fairly cheap, around $5, and was a single sprue in a bag with header card. I do not know if it is still in production or not. It was item #N-502. I wished I had grabbed more than one.

Thanx Rob for that. Now ive just got to c if i can find those kits here.

Keep well.

CMK and Panzershop both make dozer blades if you want to go that route as well. The Skif mine plow is nice, but very hard to find. Ebay is the best place to look for it.

tamiya, tamiya [:p]

From everything I have heard the Tamiya T-55 is one of their best kits. Dragon’s T-34/85 has also gotten good reviews.
