Best Overall German Armor Build

I know that I will get alot of feedback on this question, but I just want to see what is the overall opinion from the forum. But, I just want to see what the forum’s opinion would be for the best overall German Armor build. I’m looking for manufactuer and make of armor.

Thanks,

Tom

I suspect any of Dragon’s latest Smart, Premium, or zimmed kits. I’ve heard wonderful things about The Smart Dragon Panther, Panzer IV E, and StuG III G Early. All viable options.

Since I can only go by what I’ve actually built, it would be the Tamiya Panzer III L, Wespe, and Marder III M. All kits are simpler and need some updating, but are less busy and easier to construct and look very much the part after assembly.

By the way are you looking for a 1/35 scale kit or a 1/48 scale kit? If you looking for something in 1/48 scale, then Tamiya is the way to go.

I remember hearing something about Tasca’s Luchs. I’ve read more than one review commenting on how wonderful it built up. A little more pricey though.

I agree on the 1/35 Dragons. Even their 1/72 are simply amazing. In my opinion, the best for WWII German armor. Trumpeter is also pretty good as they have some of the rarer stuff like the Sturer Emil, E-10, E-25, and E-100 Ausf B.

Whatever’s under 30.00…
