best model

Well since i am still working on my first armor piece, i cannot say whats my best model for armor…but someday thanks to all the help i am recieving on here and some time i may be able to.
Heres mine just for the heck of it…my rendition of a Urban Assualt tank (Leopard A4) not completed but hey…

erock:
thanx for the link, now i can print out pix of your most excellent M1A1 !
i’ll be glad to put some pix on here myself, but i don’t know how … do you need a digital camera or what ?
(i’m really clueless, eh ?)

frosty,
a good digital camera is a must these days for many reasons, if you can’t afford one you can take pics with a regular camera and when you have it developed ask them to put it on a CD then you can take the pics off the CD and load them into the PC , once thats done it’s a really simple procedure…but we will save that explination for then.

DJ:
can’t wait to see the Ontos…i’ve been thinking about trying to scratchbuild an engine in 1/72, probably for my Challenger. any tips ?

Horus:
(nice handle; that’s the bird-headed one, right?):
thx for the info ! i’m gonna see if i can borrow a digital camera from a family friend…

Not really, Frosty, just the need for as much reference as you can find/afford, and the patience for long dry-fitting and trials & errors sesions when it comes to fill in the engine compartments…

true true, DJ… time to lay in supplies of sheet and strip styrene and just do it, i guess , after i get all my reference material together . today an engine bay, tomorrow (or at least someday) an S tank… gotta start somewhere ! hey, i think i just found my sig!
have a good weekend…forecast is for rainy weather around here, so i might just finish something !
best wishes to all…

My best is always the one I’m about to start. Once I get the plastic all washed up and clean, it’s all pretty much down hill from there!! lol

Seriously, I’m 99%+ done with a Tamiya Panzer II that’s taken me about a year and a half to do (on and off!). I think it looks pretty good, and I’ve had some positive comments about it. (Wouldn’t win any contests, though, but that’s not why I build!)

wipw, the Pz Ii is a favourite subject of mine. You need to post some pics of this little gem of yours!

Wow djmodels1999 I never new that.

My best model…the next one I am preparing to do. Though I sure am proud of a M551 Sheridan I semi-scatched to update it to Viet nam. and a Tiger 1 that I hand zimmerited

Eric68 I have a question about your model, because I really, really liked it. What model is this or what company? and What scale is this model?
Thanks.

I f Ican get it to work my best would have to be my jagdpanzer IV aus F (early )

Good job looks awesome! If you want to take off that shine and you are using enamels use this laquer spray.

I think my best model to date is between the CIWS and the M-167 Vulcan. It’s a tough call but I’ll probably go with the CIWS because it’s the first of an all out scratchbuilt model that I an happy with, especially being my first and a 1/20 scale.
