Going out of town this weekend, I hope to hit at least one or two hobby shops where I am going. Wanting to know who makes the best kits of the Panzer IV J. If I can find one. I kinda like the look of the mesh armor.
Tamiya, but it doesn’t come with the mesh side-skirts…not sure if any kit has ever come w/ the mesh kind, but they wouldn’t be too difficult to scratch…
Dragon made a kit of the MkIVJ w/mesh side skirts in 1/35. Shanghai Dragon did the last re-issue of it a few years back.
Well I atcually have a set of etched Brumbar mesh skirts that I thaught I may could adapt to fit the J
I prefer Dragon kits over Tamiya in general, although they are both excelent as far as I’m concerned. If you already have some PE for it you could probably get away with whichever one is cheaper IMO
I have never seen a Brummbar with mesh schurzen before. I have seen the Pz IV/L 70 with it. Do you have a pic?
