I want to build a Phantom and I need a kit that has good fit. What is the best?
Hasegawa IMHO.
Regards, Rick
I second what Rick said the Hasegawa kit is the best.
DITTO![:D]
Arent the ProModeler F-4s Hasegawa reboxed?
Definetly the Hasegawa. I have built four and will build more in the future. great out of the box and plenty of aftermarket if you want to go wild.
The Pro Modeler is a re-boxed Hasegawa, but it’s an E model, an Air Force variant of the Phantom. The US Navy flew B, J, N, and S models, did I forget any?
Hasegawa.
Revell-Monogram F-4’s are not to bad if you like a challenge like I do. I have the 1/48 Monogram F-4J Mig Killer and I’ve built this kit 3 other times with no problems. The only thing lacking is the accuracy of the cockpit instruments, they are for an F-4E not a J.
Off Topic… Hey SSgtD! How the heck are you? Long time no post. Good to see ya!
Air Master
Hasagawa… Hands down.
For price , the Monogram kit is good(except for the cockpit) I’ve built several. I havn’t built a Hasegawa “J” yet, I have built some of their other Phantoms and they kick butt. Hands Down! If you can afford it, they are the way to go.
