Best builders to watch on Youtube to learn

Hello, I am just starting to get into this hobbie and I could use a few recommandations on who is worthwhile to watch on Youtube for learning.

I am primarily interested in planes but also like other categories.

Thanks

Hello, welcome to the hobby [:D]

Try the following - MOS6510, Quick Kits, LPJ Models, Night Shift (great for painting & weathering techniques), Plasmo (advanced, but inspirational), Dave’s Model Workshop - there are hundreds more. If you want to find a build or review of a particular subject or kit, just search for it using your usual search engine, or look on You Tube - there are lots of people out there sharing their skills. Enjoy!

Thanks so much for your help Hutch, I really appericate it. [Y]

I have stumbled on Plasmo’s channel a few times, his work is very impressive.

Take care.

You may also find unboxing and reviews of different kits. I have sometimes declined to invest in a few kits as there could be issues with it.

Martin Kovach’s Night Shift is good stuff, as is LPJ. CW Modeling spreads things over several episodes, which can help follow the detail. Steve at The Model Shed is good, too. martin, at Laser Creation World has good videos, but there’s not a lot of description of technique, if plenty of video of techniques…

To add to the discusion, Maxsmodels, Barbatos Rex (mainly paint reviews and demonstrations), Scale-a-ton, Laser Creation-World, Scalemodelaircraft, The Scalemodeling Channel, かりんとう Karinto painting, Mann’s Model Moments,
油肉エアブラシch ─Oil meat Airbrush, bhop.builds,
4THECRAFT, MACマニアの備忘録, Paint on Plastic by Lincoln Wright, florymodels, SUKIMA SANGYO, and Leona’s Workshop

Have fun with all that

I humbly submit that the videos FSM produces are great for learning. They are available on FineScale.com and YouTube. And the magazine is an excellent resource for modelers, without which this forum wouldn’t exist.
