What is in your mind the best bang for the buck?
Any size or company.
- Any free kit
- Any kit on sale (obviously)
If you’re talking strictly “full-retail” prices, I’d say the “3 in 1” DML kits are a pretty big bang for the buck. Your choice of three different versions, plenty of extra parts for future builds, outstanding detail, lots of extras (PE parts, metal barrels, etc), and all for a fraction of the Tamiya equivalents.
Have to echo Robert here. Dragon’s newer kit prices are hard to beat especially when they inlcude normally AM goodies like aluminum barrels and PE screens.
Ditto. They are so much cheaper than a latest offering form Tamiya too. great selection also.
Dragon are winning in my books (and wallet}

Yeah, check out the Dragon Panther A Late 60th Anniversary of Normandy kit. I believe you can get it online for $25 (less today online thanks to Greatmodels nice 1 day only 40% off sale) and it has PE and an aluminum barrel
Gotta go with Dragon!! hottest deal in town these days of over inflated model prices. Semper Fi, mike
I’ve gotta agree. I just received DML’s Jagdpanzer Normandy Anniversary kit and it is awesome. It saves at least $30 on would normally be bought as an aftermarket item: PE screeens, aluminum barrel, metal tow cable, plenty of decals to choose what numbers you want, and their normal individual tracks. I would not hesitate on it.
the DML T-34/76 kit is definitely one of the best kits I’ve ever built, armor, ac or cars.
