Who makes the best (most accurate) F-4E II kit and what about AM accesories? I intend to model one from the Ft. Wayne, IN, ANG. I was an early teen when they switched to the F-16’s. I remember as a little tyke watching them take off and feeling the rumble of the earth under my feet. I miss them.
Start with the pro modeler F-4E it’s the same as the Hasegawa kit and it costs less.
What about after market accesories and PE?
There’s lots available. Do a search at Squadron or Great Models.

Any particular recomendations?
Rare Plane Detective has a Black Box resin cockpit set in 1/48 for the F-4E (Hasegawa kit I believe)…

Like Rick said, search at Great Models (www.greatmodels.com), enter “F-4E”…I found the Aires cockpit set.
For the Monogram Pro Modeler F-4E, which is Hasegawa’s kit but re-boxed, there are several to be had CHEAP on e-bay…
Good luck!
