Went to pick up a jar of Tamiya paint and some spark plug wire for a build I am working on. Made the mistake of “just looking around” while at the hobby shop and this came home with me.

When I go in for some paint I’m always looking to see what else there is to be found and in my budget. After all, the ride to any of the LHSs takes gas and you gotta make the expenditure worthwhile 
Nice score. That’s a fun old kit to build. You’re gonna enjoy it.

I don’t have a LHS so the closest comparison I can make is Home Depot. No matter what I go into that place for, I always end up in the tool aisle ogling the newest goodies in their racks. And no matter how many tools I have, I can always find an excuse to pick up something new.

I went to our local Ryder’s Hobby Shop for just paints, wandered the military model aisle, almost ALMOST grabbed some kits that caught my eye… but stayed steadfast and only got the paints… though I am planning a return trip for some of those models. LOL Discipline, brother! Discipline! LOL (I know… it’s sometimes impossible. LOL)
