What scale ?
Regards, Rick
oops - 54mm at least.
I suppose I could use 1/48 scale - Dartmoor Figures have some Pilot scenes available through Relish Internet Model Shop. I was just hoping for something bigger.
I wanted a scene with them running to the planes for scramble.
Any thoughts would help.
eduards has WWII scramble figures in 1/48, they would go nice with a spitfire…
Well, if you want to depict pilots running to their aeroplanes, then you’ll obviously have to use figures that match the scale of the aircraft model that you plan to use.
You can use 1:72 (Airfix figures) or 1:48 (Eduard figures) but it sounds like the latter will suit you best.
I’m not aware of any RAF figures in 1:32 or 1:24 scale.
I think Peddinghaus may do thteh figures you require. If they are still available you can get them from www.historexagents.com I remember them doing a variety of aviation figures in 1/32 or 54mm and accessories. They used to be white metal.
Hope this helped.
