Battle of Britain 85th anniversary 2025-2026

@dadoffour Off to a good start. One of the most tedious jobs of model building.

Gary

@dadoffour Nice start. It’s a tedious step especially on an aircraft like your Blenheim. I’ve actually been known to do this step right at the start, although I stopped doing so since I wasn’t sure it was good to leave all that adhesive on the parts for long periods of time.

Some good progress yesterday on my Ju88. I finally got all the cockpit put into place and was able to seal up the fuselage with no issues.

Very nice! Just goes to show careful planning saves a lot of woes.

Gary

@Aggieman it’s looking good!

No pictures but I finished masking all the glass on my Beaufort last night

Anyone heard from Greysnake? It’s been two weeks since he posted anything.

Gary

Back from my absence! My better half had a couple of rough weeks so I took all the chores upon myself. Got the finished picture of your Do-217 updated!

Time for another Beaufort update…
I was able to complete some more scratch built detail in the cockpit and am generally pleased with how it looks.

I think I’ve added enough detail to make it interesting. It doesn’t look right without it.

Thats a beautiful looking cockpit. Live the belts and details

Sorry to hear about the missus. Hope she’s feeling better. Glad you’re okay, except for being overworked!

Gary

Looks good, dadoffour. She coming along.
