I hope my question is not too stupid. As we know there were numerous battles took place in WW II in both the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean. But what about the Indian Ocean. Where there any engagement took place? Which nation participated? What vessels were used. Thanks.
I know that Nagumo took some carriers there right after the Pearl Harbor raid and did some more raids and quick attacks. Also, I thought there was some battle with a German raider, but I could be mistaken.
Google is a good place to start. [;)]
