I realise their are a limited number of WWI Aviation builders here, but I am calling on all to please respond. I read an extensive thread on the D7 Kit and it certinaly confirms the challege I first suspected the kit would be when I first recieved it and promptly put it on the shelf until the day I felt my skills could rise to the occansion.
That thread was a bit old and very few if any of the photos of peoples builds posted. I wondered if someone whose had expereince with these kits might post thier photos and insights here?
Yes I realize. 1/72 is the ONLY scale which offers the greaest number and vareity of WWI Aircraft. Iam convinced the reason the majority of the WWI builders are in that scale at all is in great part due to the absolute virtual absence of (1/32) larger scale kits. I understand their 1/48 scale line does have a good rep, but that (1/32) D7 Whew its what you can expect of an large scale all resin mold. Lots of Fun modeler challeing problems that mnake you both want to salivate and cry at the same time.
