Or you can cut down some hypordermic syringe needles with a Dremel …
Or just buy some styrene rod at the lhs and cut to length. Then just make the holders out of sheet brass.
At all of my LHS you buy brass tubeing all the way down to the size of a 1/35 kit cleaning rod.
I used 1.0 mm plastic rod from evergreen and 0.5 mm copper wire to make these on my Kingtiger. I think they look decent.
