"Bang seats" for a Bronco??? (ejector seat question)

Does anyone know what type of ejector seat was used on the OV-10 Bronco I just pulled my testors 1/48 Bronco out to build and the thing only comes with 1 seat!!! This is plain DUMB DUMB DUMB as from what I have read nearly all “Bronc’s” were two seaters.

Thanx “Panzer”

Acording to the Boeing site (http://www.boeing.com/history/bna/ov10.htm), its a LW-3B ejection seat system.

Will

For a nice site on ejection seat references for modelers try this site.

They have information and photos of the OV-10 under united states USMC and Navy aircraft section. It is a LW3B seat. The site includes the colors it should be painted as well as aftermarket sets available and photos. It is a great site. Only probelm is I can’t link you directly to the correct section to find it. On the right of the screen, click seat for type of airplane, click on the American Flag on the left of the next screen, scroll down to the bottom and click on the OV-10 Profile (Listed in alphabetical order by manufacture so look for Rockwell).

There is a resin kit for he testors model available from Paragon. I just got mine a couple weeks ago.

Once at Korat we had a OV-10 waiting its turn at the runway when somehow the back seat fired. The G.I.B. landed safely but his aircraft had to drop out of the mission package. I never did find out why it happened.

ikar01 can you tell me where to get one?[:D]

Try meteor,. They have two , one for the OV-10A #PDU48090 and OV-10D #48091.
