G’day Folk’s,
This version of the Tamiya Beaufighter Mk VI was built when this kit was first released, it is built OOB as one of the Night Fighter options, from the kit decal sheet and has been used untill recently as a shop display model. No extra’s have been put on this kit as it was originally painted from a ‘rattle can’, Over the years this model has been used in several model displays, by the shop it was originall displayed in.

I can never see too many Beaus, Rob! Having said that, I can see that your skills have improved over the years. Not that this one is badly done! It’s just that with your weathering technique your models look more real, more individual these days (a certain Catalina comes to mind[8D][;)]). Thanks for showing this one though.
How many Beaus does this make for you Rob?? Are you out of material to model from? looks good from here,thanks for sharing

I have yet to build a Beaufighter, but it is on my list of wanted kits. I may do the RAAF all green one. I like the night fighter version as well as the Mid stone and dark earth North African scheme. Once again great job.
