Badger Patriot for only $62 shipped?

I havent had much time over the winter to pull out my kits. I had last Monday off so i pulled them out and couldn’t find my airbrushes - i think the kids got to them - i will probably find them buried in the back yard or something…

Anyways, I went online to my favorite place to order another patriot and noticed they are having some sort of airbrush aid for new zealand thing - they are offering a few Badger airbrushes at super super low prices. They have the patriot for $62 with free shipping. I couldn’t pass this up, i bought 2 of them and got them within 3 days. I guess from what i read they only have so many set aside at that price.

Can I reach through the interwebs and smack you for posting this?

JUST received my new H&S Evolution yesterday. Haven’t even played with it yet.

And now I’ve got a Patriot and a Renegade Velocity on the way.

LOL …

Wow, sounds like that you got more than one new job. [;)]

Let us know how the two Badgers compare and how they compare to the H&R and your old Iwata.

I have never used a H/S airbrush, but have heard good things about them.Early this month I was a t a show and Badger Airbrushes was there and I picked up a Patriot…Great airbrush easy to clean and will spray a nice fine line.

Yeah, yeah, I know… [:$]

But…I’m selling my Grex Tritium TG (fantastic airbrush, but I think the pistol grip is too small for my hands), and the proceeds should easily cover the $130 for the two Badgers.

I’ll definitely report back. Tried the H&S out last night and it’s nice. That 0.4mm nozzle pushes more paint than the .5mm on my Iwata HP-CS. Looking forward to trying the 0.2mm. I’d compare the trigger feel to shifting a high-end German sports car. You can feel the precision. Effort is light, but never loose. So far it seems like it cleans better than the Iwatas, though I am a bit worried by the number of o-rings.

“You can feel the precision. Effort is light, but never loose.” Yek, that’s it. You just have to drive one to know the difference.

I dont know any of the companies besides badger… I have only used a syphon AB so I wouldnt wana try a gravity feed, seems to messy. What do you guys think about the Thayer and Chandler Vegas 2000 AB there selling? Is it any good?

Got mine today.

Haven’t had a chance to fire them up yet, but I love the way they feel, especially the Renegade. It’s just friggin’ SOLID in the hand.

In my past modeling life, I only used a siphon, too. Since I’ve come back, it’s been gravity feed all the way, and I’ll NEVER go back to siphon. Easier to spray at lower PSIs, easier to clean (no siphon tubes to fuss with), and personally I feel the balance is better.

It’s all subjective, but I’ve found gravity feeds to be consistently less messy to deal with. If you can, I’d highly recommend trying one out.

I might, because as good as the syphon is, for not spilling… the whole needing adapters and cant use the large tamiya bottles is tedious

you suck!!!

awesome blog doogsATX.

Just an FYI I read on another forum that supply is getting low on many of them airbrushes so they will not have anymore available once they are gone. I just ordered a few more - I am buying a velocity, another patriot and a 2 matrix… Now i will have to hide them from the kids [:D]

Does it have anything to do with the 2012 Mayan Calendar? It sounds like the end of the world. [aln]

If the world did not end, you can order most everything Badger from webairbrushes.com. They ship directly from the Badger factory. And don’t forget to get their 40% off code before ordering.

Hmm lets see here @ webairbrushes.com the patriot is $123.00. The 40% discount brings us down to $73.80 but then there is $12 shipping so the price would be $85.00 total OR you could get it at a LIMITED TIME for $62 including free shipping at Tcgraphicsandpaint.com - also shipped directly from Badger by the way. I don’t know about your math but my math is telling me I can save $23 on the promotional airbrushes. The "they will not have anymore available once they are gone" means once the Airbrush Aid for New Zealand project is over they will not have any at that price again. I’m pretty sure the Mayan 2012 Calendar has nothing to do with this promotion [:)]

Furthermore the regular price is $71.40 with free shipping and no secret discount codes at tcgraphics still saving $13.60 over webairbrushes.com prices. I have ordered from webairbrushes.com and I don’t like how they say things are in stock then come to find out a few days later something is back ordered and they all ready charged my account.

nofosg8,

I did not see your mention of the “Airbrush Aid for New Zealand project” before and misunderstood your comment on the Patriot “gone for good”. I have one of the Patriot 105F too and use it for primer etc. For general modeling task, I prefer the Iwata HP-CS or the H&S Evolution.
