After being away from this hobby for a while (25 years) I bought last year a Paasche H brush. I have been using it for all purposes (cars, planes, armor). I am currently looking for something better for camo on armor. I have been reading thru the postings and it seems that a lot of the members on this site like the Badger 155. My question is Badger lists only 1 general all purpose needle for this brush. Can you do finer detail work with it and does anybody have any experience with the Tamiya HG brush. Thanks!
Definitely, with a regulator, the 155 will do fine lines to 3"! Their advertisements are true! (about the only ones that are)
the 155 can do it all… does good at general coverage but excellent at fine detail… the one needle isn’t a handicap at all… more of a bonus feature! (I have the 155) it’s a good all around brush, I use the metal color cup for small jobs and detail, siphon fed glass bottle for larger jobs…
its great i got mine at my local michaels for 40 percent off great for general areas and great fine detail 1 needle means u dont need to change it unless u damage it
great brush

yep, another proud owner of the 155. i love mine so much.
Thanks A Lot for the Info!!
The Tamiya HG brush is another very good brush, made by the same people that make the Iwata airbrushes. Parts are interchangeable.
I used to own one and was very happy with it, a few members here also use this A/B and seem to be happy with it.
IMO, you can’t go wrong with any of the brushes that are made by BB Rich.
i got my 155 60% off at michaels
Wow 60%? I got the 40% coupon and it saved me $54.80. I just used my Badger 155 for the first time… oh it was fun
well done.
I got mine for 104, but that’s canadian and about 3 months’ ago
