Now that the new model room is up and running I can start working on some stalled builds. First is the LTD IAR-80C 1/48 that I have been detailing. The kit guns have been replaced with Aires Mg 131 resin barrels and the landing gear have been installed. The gear retraction strut is scratch built as the kit does not include this part.
And work has resumed on my second Koster 1/48 Fw-200 condor. Here are some detail pieces that I have been working on – the rear upper gun station and the front upper turret along with the radar array for the nose. This particular kit is sooo close to being done I can hardly wait to get it off the modeling table. This one has been dragging on since Christmas.
