The old Monogram kit of the B25-J Mitchell, despite the raised panel lines and some ill fits it still built into a decent model. Airbrushed with Model Master enamels and top coated with Testors Dulcote. This ship flew with the 489th Bombardment Squadron “Falcons”, 345th Bombardment Group “Air Apaches”. Imagine 14 .50 cal guns firing rounds the size of your thumb at a rate of 450-600 rounds a minute!

Looks good! I know some would be screaming “It’s too clean!”, but that doesn’t detract from the workmanship. That appears solid.
Actually, the weathering is there, it’s just understated.
And I like the .50 caliber round for comparison too!

I Gotta join in with everyone else on this. great model of a great aircraft. And I too like the .50 cal in the photo. It’s cool shell… got one hanging from my rearview mirror.
Beautifully assembled and painted. i zoomed in to 200% and didn’t see a flaw in either the seam lines or the paint job. great job !

Well you exceeded “decent” by a very large margin. But please think about the “despite” portion of your comment. I have four Mono J’s in my stock and about four AM B-25’s of various versions. What the Monogram birds have over the Accurate Miniature ones is raised panel lines. A real B-25 has over lapping panels. Raised or recessed panel lines both represent the edges of the over lapped panels, but those over lapped panels would be better represented by raised lines than by cutting groves in the fuselage. You did good!

Nicely done sir! I have that kit and am looking forward to making a gun nose one also. I have always been impressed with the fire power those birds carried.
