hey all im build Acturate Minatures B25 Dirty Dora how weathered should I make this aircraft, and what can I use to make it look as authentic as I can
I’m building the same kit right now. I plan on doing some pretty heavy weathering. You’ve got to remember, before Vic and his crew got a hold of it, it had already been in service as a strafer. Also, it was flying in the South Pacific, which was murder on paint. Finally, on low level strafing missions, I’m sure it took some small arms fire leading to a few patch jobs. Keep in mind that the fabric control surfaces faded quicker than the metal skins.
what are you going to do as far as weathering the cockpit, This is going to be my first attempt at weathering I usally build oob with no frills
