B25 over Dover today

Anybody catch the fly over at the nascacar race today? Beautiful plane.

I’ve seen the Red Bull silver one over Braunschweig, Germany once - a beautiful sight indeed!

Have a nice day

We had the Liberty Foundation’s B-17 making an appearance at Martin State Airport, about 15 miles away, a few weekends ago. Starting at about 10AM Sunday it flew over the house at about 45-minute intervals, giving rides, most of the day. Really cool to hear it coming, look up from the back yard and see a B-17 going over at what looked about 2,000 ft… Nothing like it.

I am fortunate enough to live relatively close to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton, Ontario and I get to observe the Lancaster (as well as many other WWII aircraft) fly over many time during the summer. An awesome sight and sound!

Wasn’t there but I imagine it was “Panchito”, a B-25J owned by Larry Kelly and hangered at Sussex County Airpark, Georgetown, De. Have seen her up close many times and she is beautiful. Come to "Wings & Wheels there next year (1st weekend in October) and you can take a ride in her for a fee.

I had the fortune to have FIFI fly through my back yard a couple of years ago and then the chance to see her at Oshkosh this year. Wow. I also live near a small airport in Joliet Il and was surprised the first spring I was there by an Avenger roaring overhead. There are lots of opportunities to see neat old airplanes in motion if you keep your eyes open. Check out the Commemorative Airforce and the Collins Foundation for their schedules to find a warbird near you.
