B24 kit

does anyone know of a revelle B-24 liberator kit in preferrably 1:48

Hi,
Monogram released a Liberator in 1:48. It is quite a comon kit to see on e-bay for sale.
I do not know if it’s still available.
Just looked on a model site…yes Revell do a 1:48 Liberator…still available…but expensive.

Revell, Monogram … it’s the same thing. They trade off molds all the time. The B-24J is currently on model shop shelves and the D will be along in a few months. From these you can then go to Koster Aero Enterprises and get several conversions for H, PB4Y-1, PB4Y-2 and have all sorts of fun. Mike Grant Designs has some nice decals availible and so do many other aftermarket folk.

I’ve seen the 1/48 B-24D recently released by Revell of Germany in 2 different shops locally. Haven’t seen the “J” yet.

Yeah… I’ve seen a Revell 1/48 B-24D in a model kits shop here in Peru… and a very bad Airfix 1/72 B-24J… if you want it, maybe you can contact Models Center at modelscenter@hotmail.com… but get hurry, there’s only one 1/48 B-24D

The only problem with the Revell-Germany release is cost; it’s more than twice it’s American cousin.

ive just finished revell of germanys 1/48 b24d its quite an improvement from monograms original release so many years ago i.e. better machine guns, provision for the ball turret (you will need to get the turret halves from monograms b17 though) the tow tractor and all new crew figures in action positions (waist gunners bombardier pilots all in high altitude flight gear!) directions are somewhat vague so do your research well worth the money for the updates

forgot to add this. will post pictures on request
