Ok, spreader bars installed. Much better. Not perfect, but much better.

The three view ports are flat and do not conform to the radius of the turret. I’ll leave these off and fill in the mounting cavities with putty and sand smooth.
Very interesting vehicle and a company that I’m not familiar with. I’ll definitely will be following this build.

Someone suggested thinning the vision port parts thin enough to make them conform to the shape of the turret. I’m trying this now…
View port parts thinned and bend over a smaller radius wooden dowel. now they fit the turret perfectly. Just need a little cleanup once the cement cures.
A few more details and cleanup. Then it’s ready for primer and a coat of base color.
“Survey said”… shave off and relocate that thing so the hatch will sit in the intended centered position.
