got a hustler a while ago and now its time to build it i noticed its only one cockpit detail, i want to open all three. its an 1/48th by monogram/revell kit 5713 any resin tubs or other parts out there . its got the later ejection capsule for the pilot only . any help wont hurt
Evidently there used to be. Here’s a link to a review on the kit on Swanny’s site. Then, if you click the Post War Jets button at the bottom of the page you’ll find another page or two describing the resin that was available. Don’t know if anyone still makes them.

Three Choices:
Engines and Things…ainh. Old, weak detail, lots of resin goobers and flash. Hard to find.
Golden Dragon…fraud. Many people ordered things they never got. Those that did (B-52 conversions) found it to be little more than blobs of lumpy, airhole filled, resin.
Lone Star Models…Excellent. Has a range of cockpit and engine pod sets.
Fisher Models also does a set of nozzles and inlets plus a pilot’s cockpit panel in clear resin. Aires does nozzles too. Pricey.

Thanks GLAR, I was looking myself but don’t really know where to look. [:D]

hay guys so sorry i didnt get back to you with a big thankyou on the info i got called out on that big fubar in the gulf when i got back my sea bag didnt even get unpacked before i got called out agine. now with a few days off im sending you all a thanks a ton
At $50 a set, it is just a little more than the kit itself.

My opinion for what it’s worth, the cockpit isn’t worth the effort. After she’s closed up, you can’t see anything. Afterburners and elevons are worth the trouble.

Cheers
