Such a beautiful job on that plane gone to waste. I don’t get why they would even have attempted to fly that thing with it being so windy.

“oh…No!”… I would have at least said… “oh… f*** No!” with a bit more emotion. There’s always sending the fatal footage into funniest home video in the hope of cleaning up some prizes.
By the looks of the smoke plume… I’d be guessing looking for salvage would be a waste of time as well.
Also…I guess the good work was it didn’t land on someone or something more valuable then the B52, I would image when out of control it has the potential to do real damage.
The perfect example of why I never got in to remote controlled RC aircraft. I would take forever to finish it, detail it too much and then lose all the work in a crash! But then I would never have flow in that kind of wind either! It looked like he had his hands full on the test flight. Bummer! I’ll stick to my static plastic scale models, thank you!
