I’m gearing up for the Jan 09 GB on the mon/rev B-29 and am looking for after market resources. So far I’ve only found landing gear and wheels. I’m looking for mask and possibly PE. I’ve been to Squadron.com and eduard.
Only other items I’ve seen is the vac canopy and natl marking decal sheet. Both on Squadron.
It’s funny that you mention the availability of after-market parts for the B-29 or the lack thereof. I’m about to start work on the visible B-17 for my daughter and you can buy loads of aftermarket detail sets of the B-17. There are not only interior, but exterior sets out the wazoo! But for the B-29, there’s practically nothing. While I love the detail offered OOB, with that huge greenhouse nose, you’d think there’d be a lot of offerings for cockpit detail sets.
